The Product Wizard

Tap photos, drag one to "featured," optionally let AI draft the title and description, set a price, and publish. Works exactly the same on phone and laptop.

The Product Wizard

The fastest way to put a product on your store. It's at /admin/wizard — or click "Pick up where you left off" from your dashboard if you've already started one.

Flow

  1. Photos. Tap Add photos to pick from your phone (multi-select) or take a new shot with the camera. Photos upload in the background — you can start typing while they finish.
  2. Featured photo. The first photo is featured by default. Tap any thumbnail in the strip to make it featured instead. On a desktop you can also drag to re-order.
  3. Title. Type it yourself, or (Shop+ tier) tap ✨ Write title — AI reads the featured photo + your brand voice and suggests a title. Costs 5 credits. Edit after.
  4. Description. Same drill. ✨ Write description costs 25 credits when a photo is used (10 without).
  5. Price. A plain dollar amount. You can add sizes, colors, and variant-specific prices after publishing.
  6. Publish. The product appears immediately in /admin/products and (eventually) on the marketplace.

Save-and-resume

Every keystroke autosaves (debounced 400ms). If you close the tab, drop the phone on the floor, or just come back tomorrow — your draft is exactly where you left it. The dashboard shows a "Pick up where you left off" banner with a one-tap link back.

The I'm done for now link at the bottom of the wizard leaves everything intact and sends you home. No lost work, ever.

Free Porch cap

Free Porch plans are capped at 10 published products. The wizard will surface a friendly "Upgrade for unlimited" message if you try to publish an 11th — your draft is saved, and the upgrade link is one tap away. Upgrade and the same draft publishes.

What's left to do after publish

  • Variants (sizes, colors) — the wizard ships a single-combo product. Open the product in /admin/products to add option groups, generate the variant grid, and price each combination.
  • Delivery methods — the product editor has a Delivery section with per-method toggles, prices, and ETAs.
  • SEO — add a custom title and meta description on the product page. (AI can draft this too.)
