Getting started

Visit thepaintedporch.shop/claim-your-porch to start the 8-step wizard that sets up your shop on The Painted Porch.

What to have ready

  • Your logo (PNG, JPG, or SVG) — don't have one? We'll create a clean wordmark for you
  • Product photos (up to 20) — the more the better; our AI will draft product listings from these
  • Basic info: your shop name, a one-sentence tagline, your city, and your primary product category
  • A credit card for your membership (if choosing a paid tier)

The 8 steps

  1. Email — we save your progress so you can come back anytime
  2. Logo — upload your logo or skip for now
  3. Product photos — drag and drop up to 20 photos
  4. Business basics — shop name, tagline, category, city/state
  5. Brand voice — 3 quick questions that shape everything we draft for you
  6. Account — create your login
  7. Choose your plan — Free Porch, The Shop (Founding $297/mo), The Shop ($497/mo), or The Anchor ($897/mo)
  8. Payment — secure checkout via Stripe

What happens after you pay

  • Your dashboard is live immediately at /admin
  • We start building your custom site within 48 hours
  • You can upload more products, choose brand colors, and connect your Stripe account while you wait
  • Once your site is ready, we'll email you a proof for approval

Resuming your application

Dropped off partway through? Check your email for a "Pick up where you left off" link, or visit /claim-your-porch — your session is saved for 30 days.

Founding seat pricing

The first 50 vendors get The Shop at $297/month, locked for life. Once these seats are gone, the price goes to $497/month permanently. If you choose Free today, the founding rate is closed to you — upgrading later will be $497/month.
